ANIMAL FRIENDSHIPS

Longing for the lost paradise

Petting the cats, cuddling the dog, watching the rabbits, watering the baby calves, bringing hay to the cows. To forget the time with the four-legged friends on the farm, to feel a connection with the animals, to be delighted by their devotion. Near them you can be close to yourself again, find peace, find your way back to your roots.

”Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
Anatole France

ENJOY CULTURE

Where the influence of the Mediterranean way of life becomes noticeable

The culturally rich cities of Klausen and Brixen can be reached within 15 to 20 minutes by car or by bus. If you prefer to walk, Klausen is only a 60 minute walk away. You can stroll through the quaint town of Klausen, which has been named one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, admire the Loreto Treasure and other works of art in the town museum, and then take a tour of the Capuchin-Garden and the medieval old town. If you dare, you can venture the climb to the monastery of Säben, not only for the rewarding view, but also for the many centuries of history and for the precious art treasures.

Klausen and its surroundings have a lot more to offer: farmers' markets, summer night concerts, “Gasslfieber” (entertainment evenings and open stores), alpine-meadow festivals, “Gassltörggelen”, summer and autumn festivals, medieval Christmas markets and more.

The south of the Eisacktal-Dolomites is located in the heart of South Tyrol and is, therefore, an ideal starting point for various excursions in South Tyrol and the neighboring provinces, for example to Lake Garda or Venice.
